Overview of SSC CHSL Exam
SSC CHSL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) in India for recruitment to various group C and D posts. The SSC conducts the CHSL Exam annually to fill up all the LDC and DEO vacancies.
Candidates having a minimum qualification of higher secondary (10+2) education or equivalent can appear in this SSC CHSL Examination.
SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2022
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination in two tiers:
Tier 1: The SSC CHSL Tier 1 will be conducted in Online Mood. There are 4 subjects in Tier I exam English, General Awareness, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Each Subject consist of 25 questions. The Tier 1 exam is of objective type, with multiple-choice questions. The duration of Tier 1 is of 1 hour. Each question carries 2 mark. There is a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong response.
Tier 2: The Tier 2 exam of the SSC CHSL Examination will also be conducted in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Mode. According to the revised pattern, it consists of multiple-choice questions as well as a skill test. The detailed pattern of SSC CHSL exam is given below.
